How do I start an IHSA team at my college or university?
For information on starting an IHSA team: from the home page, choose
About, then
Start a Team, or just click
here.
I forgot my username or password.
To retrieve your username or password: from the home page, choose
Login, then click on the Forgot Username? or Forgot Password? link. Coaches have access to their rider's login information. Region Presidents have access to coach's login information.
What colleges and universities are members of IHSA?
A complete alphabetical listing of teams is available from the main page if you choose
About, then
Current Teams, or just click
here. From that page you can also find a list of teams sorted by
Zone & Region.
Who is my Region or Zone President? If I am a`new school interested in joining, how do I find out what Region & Zone my school will be a member of?
A list of all board members, including Region and Zone Presidents, is available when you go to
Contact Info, then click on
Board of Directors. If you are representing a new school and would like to find out which Region and Zone your school would be a part of, contact IHSA National Secretary
Jim Arrigon.
Where can I find a current show schedule?
The show calendar maintained here is submission-based only. Region Presidents can
submit their show schedule and all dates will be posted to the
Calendar of Events.
Are there any scholarships offered to IHSA members?
Yes, there are several different scholarships available to IHSA members. From the main page, choose Scholarships, then check out our
IEF Scholarship,
Jon Conyers Scholarship, and
Senior Award links for more information.
Where can I send my membership check?
Riders, please contact your Coach to find out where to send your membership check. Coaches, check with your Region President. Region President contact information is available on the
Board of Directors page under the Contact Info tab.
I have a question about the rules of IHSA.
Our rulebook is available
online. If you are unable to find the answer to your question there, please ask your Coach or Region President. Region President contact information is available on the
Board of Directors page under the Contact Info tab.
How many points do I have?
Your Coach should be able to tell you how many points you have. The IHSA does not currently have a system in place to keep track of all its' member's points.
When will IHSA Nationals information be available online?
Nationals information for the current year will be available each January, under the Events >
Nationals tab on the main page. Vendors, for more information, visit the
Trade Show page.
I am interested in donating a horse to an IHSA team.
The IHSA itself does not accept horses for donation; however, some individual teams can and do take horses on a donation basis. Try contacting
teams in your area.
What riding discplines are offered by the IHSA?
IHSA riders can compete in five levels of Hunter Seat Equitation on the Flat & three levels of Hunter Seat Equitation Over Fences, five levels of Western Horsemanship, and Reining. Riders who competed in the IHSA as undergraduate students may compete in the
Alumni divisions.
I'm renewing my membership and trying to change the answers to the questions because they are now outdated, but it won't let me. Help!
